Now the worst of the weather seems to have passed and you&#8217;ve made it into work, I thought this recent news story about our recent Awards may be of interest.<\/p>\n<p>A week last Thursday Portfolio Display was nominated for the Small to Medium Sized business in the Halifax Courier newspaper. Unexpectedly myself (Rob Walker) and my co director Garth Walker were also nominated by the judges for the Young Business Person of the Year. Directors and managers from Portfolio Display with Claire Frisby from BBC Look North News.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The first award of the night was for the Small to Medium Sized business and there had been a lot of very high quality entries, so we were extremely pleased to have made it this far. After coming runner up in the Small to Medium sized business I thought the same situation would occur again, due to the quality of the other nominations.<br \/>\nWhen Rob Walker and Garth Walker were called out as the winners (together as a duo), we were truly shocked and could not believe we had just won.
