Production director Garth Walker completed the London marathon on Sunday in 4hrs 39 minutes. This was an amazing achievement to say that 6 months ago Garth was not even interested in running, let alone a 26-mile marathon. After many strenuous training sessions Garth managed to get into great physical and mental shape, ready to run the London marathon. I asked Garth whether he was ready for it and he replied \u201cI\u2019m like a crazed bull stuck behind a gate ready to go\u201d, good reply I thought.<\/p>\n
Garth ran the marathon in aid of the St. Johns Ambulance and managed to raise over \u00a31250 and still increasing. He would like to thank everyone who sponsored him and all the suppliers and customers to Portfolio Display who also donated to this great event. Garth\u2019s energy and drive has really captivated the entire team at Portfolio Display.
